LONELY GERMAN SHEPHERD, MASTER DIED, AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Holly will be a challenging adoption except for someone with patience.

As of press time, a four year-old female German Shepherd was available for adoption at the Niagara County SPCA. Her name is Holly, although should you adopt her, there seems to be no reason why you couldn’t change her name.

Holly is not currently on the adoption side of the kennels but if interested arrangements can be made to meet her. An adult home would be best for Holly, who has been at the shelter for almost a year. Her owner passed away and she was brought in to the shelter.

Because Holly’s previous owner was ill, Holly was not exposed to much to people.

She is very shy and will put on a barking show to scare you off but Holly is very treat motivated, which is the way to her heart. She loves hot dogs! Potential adopters would have to work with Holly at the shelter until she gets to know you.

For more info contact the Niagara County SPCA at 716-731-4368.
