Chris Schoepflin, who has led the state-run economic development agency in Downtown Niagara Falls is leaving his New York State position and joining Pegula Sports & Entertainment as the VP of External Affairs and Strategic Development.

Schoepflin, who had been President of USA Niagara Development Corporation was also the Western New York regional director, which he was appointed to in 2015.

The announcement was made on Tuesday on Social Media by Pegula Sports & Entertainment.
