Cardiac-Stroke Care unit construction enters final stages at Memorial Medical Center

Construction at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s new $4.3 million Cardiac/Stroke Care Unit is entering its final stages and members of the nursing staff are getting excited about the prospect of caring for their patients in the new 12,950-square-foot facility.

This week they stopped in to check on the progress being made by general contractor Telco Construction, shown here putting some finishing touches on one of the new private patient rooms.

Along with all private rooms, the new unit will feature six higher acuity step-down rooms and an in-unit rehabilitation therapy facility to encourage quicker patient recovery.
