A message from the Canal Fest Parade Committee

This is one of the biggest and finest parades in all of New York State.

Peace and Harmony is the theme of the 2018 Canal Fest Parade.

We cordially invite your group to participate in the annual event. Whether you have been a participant in the past or if this is your first invitation, we hope your group will join us in celebrating our 36th Annual Canal Fest Parade.

Please fill out the enclosed application form and return it as soon as possible but no later than June 15, 2018 to secure your participation. You will be notified of the parade line up in early July.

This year the parade lineup is anticipated to be on Grove Street Starting at Grove and Minerva Streets in the City of Tonawanda. The line of the march will be Grove to Main St in Tonawanda to Webster St in North Tonawanda.

The parade will start off at 6:30pm. You should plan on being in place no later than 6:00pm. We encourage you to build a float highlighting the theme of this year’s parade “Peace and Harmony.”

There are many sizes for both floats and marchers. Please join us on the 17th of July for this annual celebration of the Twin Cities.

Sincerely,

Rob Grehlinger and the Canal Fest Parade Committee
