The Lockport DMV is closed after a Verizon data line was severed. The Niagara County Clerk is urging motorists to consider visiting the North Tonawanda or Niagara Falls offices instead. Lockport DMV staff is being sent to those locations to handle the increase in traffic. The North Tonawanda DMV is located at 500 Wheatfield Street. The Niagara Falls DMV is located at the Trott Access Center at 1001 Eleventh Street.
