The following are excerpts from emails apparently written by Lewiston-Porter United Teachers Union President and eighth grade teacher Kevin Jaruszewski.
The emails have been confirmed, by staff of the Niagara Falls Reporter, to be on the server of the recipient and as having been received from the LPUT.org server.
The recipient of these emails is former Vanguard Editor and Publisher Lenny Palumbo.
At first it appears Jaruszewski did not know the identity to whom he was sending the emails. The messages were sent to an email address of Gavin Moriarty (which is Palumbo's pen name). Later he learned that he was corresponding with Palumbo.
