Scientologists Put on a Show!

L. Ron Hubbard

Hubbard published here

On Saturday, June 1st at 1:00 PM. there will be a theatrical reading at the Church of Scientology Buffalo, 836 Main Street Buffalo when Golden Age Theater presents "Tough Old Man."

Written in 1950, the short story by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, is a comedic science fiction story that originally ran in a pulp magazine called Startling Stories.

According to Author Services, Inc., which represents the literary, theatrical and musical works of Hubbard, the event will "transport the audience back in time to the days of the Golden Age of Radio-Style theater, with a live performance of a short pulp story from the 1940's, with professional Hollywood actors. There is also a live musical performance with professional local musicians….It is entirely a community event to experience the excitement and aesthetic appeal of a real-life radio-drama production."

Admission is free - and they add, because it is held at the Church of Scientology "no requirements. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served."
