Forster, the Toast of the (Democratic) Town in Lewiston

Nick Forster

On Sunday, April 14, 2013 the Lewiston Democratic Committee will honor Nick Forster, Niagara County Democratic Chairperson, as the Lewiston Democrat of the Year for 2013. The Committee selected Forster in "recognition of his efforts to reunite and strengthen the Niagara County Democratic Party and its various local Committees, and to bring the interests of the local labor workforce back to importance in the party," a press release states.

Forster will be honored at a brunch at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, in Lewiston, from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The keynote speaker will be former State Assemblyman and current Empire State Development Regional President William " Sam " Hoyt III.

All are invited to attend.

As part of the event, the Committee will be collecting canned and/or dry food items and toiletries to aid the "WNY Heroes", a group whose mission is to provide veterans, members of the armed services, and the widows and children of deceased veterans with access to essential services, financial assistance and resources that support their lives and sustain their dignity.

Questions about the event may be directed to (716) 622-6275.
