Film Festival Group To Honor Madsen, Bishop

Michael Madsen and Larry Bishop will be the next Buffalo Niagara Film Festival Walk Of Fame Stars, according to Bill Cowell, the founder/president of BNFF, and will appear in person to accept their awards.

Madsen appeared in Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill 1 & 2, and the movie filmed in Buffalo, The Natural.

Larry Bishop is the son of the late comedian Joey Bishop and is a writer, director and actor involved in films such as Underworld, Kill Bill 2, Hell Ride, and The Savages.

Both men will be present at the various the BNFF Events from Wednesday to Sunday.

A premiere of "Hell Ride" will be shown at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday at The Adam's Mark Hotel with both Bishop and Madsen in attendance, with a Q&A and autograph session and picture opportunities.

The BNFF will induct Madsen and Bishop into the BNFF Walk Of Fame Ceremony with their Walk Of Fame "Star", following the Premiere of "Hell Ride."

The Walk Of Fame Event will be open to the public and is free of charge.

Anyone associated with the original feature "The Natural," filmed in Buffalo in 1984, is encouraged to attend this year's events with their pictures, memorabilia, clothing, etc. and share their stories, according to Cowan.

The production staff of "The Natural" Documentary, which is currently filming for a scheduled premiere and 30-year reunion in 2014, will be at the festival events from April 10-14 to interview people associated with the original film.

Past Recipients of the BNFF Walk Of Fame are William Fichtner, Tom Sizemore & Evander Holyfield. All of them were present to receive their honors.

All donations go to the BNFF Special Funding Projects, which includes autism and The Natural Documentary, which is currently filming for a special engagement scheduled at the next BNFF Events in April 2014.
