Billed as “An Old Fashioned Festival complete with a Parade, Peach Shortcake, food, vendors, carnival rides and 3 days of stage entertainment,” not to mention fireworks and a 5K Run for the Peaches, the Lewiston Peach Fest is scheduled to run from Thursday, Sept. 7 through Sunday, Sept. 10.
A free shuttle is provided for visitors’ convenience. As you enter Lewiston on Center Street follow the “FREE SHUTTLE” signs. Turn left at the second traffic light onto Portage Road and follow the signs to the shuttle lot with free parking. Our climate controlled Gray Line shuttles will whisk you to the festival grounds entrance, just steps from all of the fun and excitement! When it is time to leave, the free shuttle will pick you up at the same spot and get you quickly back to your car and on the way home.
The Lewiston Kiwanis proudly announce that their 60th Annual Peach Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 11 am.
The Peach Festival stage is filled with entertainment all weekend long, including dancers, cheerleaders, music artists including Terry Buchwald, The Tim Britt Band, and Everyday People, the Peach Fuzz and Blossom pageants and the grand finale, the culmination of this gala celebration, the crowning of the 2017 Peach Queen!
Residents and visitors can also take the Discover Niagara shuttle, on which there are always plenty of available seats, from downtown Niagara Falls to the Lewiston Peach Festival.
There’s still time to register for the 5k Run through scenic, historic Lewiston, or for your group to sign up to march in the parade. You can find more information on the Lewiston Peach Festival by visiting www.Lewistonpeachfestival.org.
