Christmas at the NACC is Yuletide delight

A full slate of holiday activities will be taking place at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center (NACC) at 1201 Pine Avenue in the Falls this month, including art shows, receptions, parties, concerts and dance performances. You won’t want to miss any of the fun!

From December 2 through January 28, the 15th Annual “Artists & Friends” Exhibition celebrating original visual art of various mediums, genres and artistic interpretations, sponsored by the WNY Artists Showcase. This will be in the Townsend Gallery.

You won’t want to miss the classic “Miracle on 34th Street” to be performed at the Western Door Playhouse’s Woodbox Theater. The Holiday Classic brings joy to the Woodbox Theater and reminds us all miracles can happen. Tickets are Adults $12, Seniors/Students, $10. Call 297-5910 for reservations, but hurry, because the last performances are this weekend!

The children will be enchanted and delighted at “ELF Jr. The Musical,” directed by Amy & Chris Teal and choreographed by Jill Anderson.

A must-see holiday musical! Buddy the “elf” in Santa’s shop embarks on a journey to New York City to discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Showtimes for Elf Jr. at Teal’s Niagara Theater are Friday, December 15th @ 7pm, Saturday,December 16th @ 2:00 PM and Saturday,December 16th @ 7:00 PM. Tickets are $8, $10 at the door.
