Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s marquee event, the 11th Annual Premier, will feature the music of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, a contemporary swing revival band from Southern California.
Their notable singles include "Go Daddy-O," "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)," and "Mr. Pinstripe Suit." The band played at the Super Bowl XXXIII half- time show in 1999.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has built a following through touring and a discography that includes the platinum selling album Americana Deluxe. The Premier will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino and will pay tribute to Seneca Nation of Indians leader Barry Snyder, Sr., who has served five terms as president, and psychiatrist Dr. Hak J. Ko, Memorial’s director of inpatient behavioral health.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Golisano Center for Community Health at Niagara Falls Memorial. The new center’s groundbreaking is scheduled for next March.
Chairpersons for The Premier are Dr. Venkat and Christin Kolli and Gary and Francine Hall. For information on Premier sponsorship opportunities and tickets, call (716) 278-4570.
