How Should The Military Operation In Gaza Be Finished The Terror In Gaza Undefeated Will Come To The United States

By Shmuel Shmueli

July 22, 2014

Shortly the nations of the world will increase their efforts to bridge the gap between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization in order to bring about a cease-fire and to stop military maneuvers through political channels.

As seen from a conventional strategic perspective, the Western world cannot make a bigger mistake.

It is incumbent upon us to change our mindset and that of the nations of the world for an all-inclusive solution in regards to global radical Islamic terrorism as it pertains to what’s going on in Gaza.

We must in a timely manner instill into the world’s mind that the battle in Gaza is only a glimpse into radical Islam’s war on the West and its culture.

Strategically speaking, world peace is presently in the balance on multiple fronts, such as the terror act of shooting down the Malaysian jet over the Ukraine.  What happens in Gaza and how terror will be defeated there, will determine the future deterrent of radical Islam that’s plotting under the banner of Islamic caliphates “to rule the entire world and to make it subordinate to the cruel laws of Islam,” including international terror directed at Western countries, of which we have only seen its budding.

This can be illustrated by what happened last week in Mosul, Iraq.

Christians have fled Iraq’s northern city of Mosul before a deadline issued last Saturday by the al-Qaeda-inspired State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) for them to either convert to Islam, pay tax, leave or be killed.

CHRISTIANS FLEE MOSUL

Al Arabia correspondent in Iraq Majid Hamid said the deadline set by the jihadist group was 12 p.m., last Saturday Iraqi time (10 a.m. GMT).  Hamid reported that many Christians fled the city on Friday.  The story was followed by Fox News on Sunday.

Patriarch Louis Sako told AFP last Friday, “Christian families are on their way to Dohuk and Arbil,” in the neighboring autonomous region of Kurdistan.”  “For the first time in the history of Iraq, Mosul is now empty of Christians,” he said.

Witnesses said messages telling Christians to leave the city by Saturday were blared through loudspeakers from the city’s mosques Friday.

A statement dated from last week and purportedly issued by the ISIS that took over the city and the large swathes of Iraq during a sweeping offensive last month warned Mosul’s Christians they should convert, pay a special tax, leave or face death.

“We were shocked by the distribution of a statement by the Islamic State calling on Christians to convert to Islam, or to pay unspecified tribute, or to leave their city and their homes taking only their clothes and luggage, and that their homes would then belong to the Islamic State,” Sako said.

The patriarch, who is one of the most senior Christian clerics in Iraq, and residents contacted by AFP said Islamic State militants had in recent days been tagging Christian houses with the letter N for “Nassarah,” the term by which the Koran refers to Christians.

The statement, which was seen by AFP, said, “There will be nothing for them but the sword” if Christians reject those conditions

Simultaneously, an 1800 year old church was set aflame.

The Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and other terrorist organizations in Gaza are just the cutting edge of the Al – Qaeda (ISIS) inspired terrorist organization as mentioned above.

A Hamas spokesman last week put it well….  “The Israelis want to live.  We raised a generation that longs to die.”

In his opinion, this is the weapon of extreme Islamic terrorism that wishes to terrorize most of normal Islamic countries and the entire Western world.

RADICAL ISLAM IS EVERYWHERE

Branches of radical Islam are everywhere; within Israel, on the peripheries of the main highways in the Galilee, in the Negev, in the Sharon and in Judea & Samaria that have been blocked with ample violence as well as in Lebanon with a reminder of an attack from there; in Syria where radical elements gained control over those rebelling against Assad; in Iraq, where they gained control over its oil fields and established joint Islamic caliphates with Syria as well as in Afghanistan, Yemen and other centers around the world including parts Europe.

World terrorism is showing its face not only amongst born radical Muslims; it’s also turning up amongst people who have a westernized look that have turned to Islam in great numbers who learn terrorism’s mindset in Syria and Iraq and return to Europe who later on plot how to enter the United States.

These developments intensified this week and realized a higher level of self-protection for the complacent Western world whose leaders are concealing the truth from its citizens.

The American authorities were compelled to demand of people flying from Europe, and soon from all over the world, to the United States to activate their cell phones to make sure that they didn’t contain explosive materials that were developed by terrorists in Yemen and Syria that can down jets.

Global leaderships already understand theoretically that one cannot defeat fanatic Islamic terrorism and all those that support it on all fronts at the same time.

Victory against terrorism or at least hindering it can only be stopped by a significant deterrent.

There is no alternative other than to destroy the generation of whose members long to die “vis-à-vis” by those who desire life.

In order to safeguard the fall of Western civilization and its confinement in the face of terror, a crushing deterrent must be set into motion at least on one front, for example.  Therefore one must go full speed ahead with all the means at our disposal in the battle against terrorism in the Gaza Strip, an action that will be burned into the consciousness of an entire generation.

That’s the only way to save the Western world and its culture from extremists around the world, including the Ukraine.

Senior representatives of the global media network are already in Israel in great numbers who can with relative ease be briefed on the need to decisively tip the scale against terrorism in Gaza.

Proper clarification of the matter will serve the interests of Western civilization, whereas a definitive Israeli victory over terrorism will act only as its cutting edge.

The basis for explanation places emphasis on the fact that the confrontation in Gaza is not with a nation that has been “conquered,” because there is not a single Israeli living in Gaza.  Rather the confrontation here is with global terrorism.

Terrorism has countless names and nicknames.  The names of the terrorist organizations are not important:  What they all share in common is terrorism.

TERROR GROWS STRONGER IN FACE OF WEAKNESS

Any show of weakness in the face of terror in Gaza or in the Ukraine only caused it to become stronger, prompted it to fire thousands of missiles at Israel, rockets and mortar shells from the ground or scores of tunnels from Gaza into Israel as well as the terror in the Ukraine.

Any show of weakness, even during political negotiations to finish now the battle in Gaza before it achieves its goals, or any weakness exhibited in regards to what transpired in the Ukraine, will prompt and strengthen global terror.

Terrorism must be eradicated utterly and totally.

Gaza isn’t Syria, Iraq, Lebanon or Afghanistan.  Gaza is closed off and can be fought easily relatively speaking if appropriate and adequate steps are taken to minimize on the one hand civilian casualties, and on the other hand to aim to a full and final victory over terror.

One cannot fight terror with hands that are tied.

This will surely lead to strategic and operational failure.

But since terrorism places women and children on the tops of their roofs as human shields, the IDF’s hands are tied, preventing it from doing what it has to do.  This will not allow the IDF to win the battle without significant casualties.  Therefore the only solution would be to allow the civilians in the war zone run away to a safer haven.  Whoever will remain will be considered terrorists.

Any agreement for a premature “cease-fire” will be considered as a victory for Islamic terrorism over Western civilization.

Hamas’ and their like only desire is to wipe Israel and its Jewish population off the map in order for it to become part of the terroristic Islamic caliphates, a caliphate that will dictate to the Western world the laws of Islam.

The Hamas is fighting its own citizens in Gaza just as radical Muslims cruelly do to other Muslims daily in other Islamic countries as a preparation to Islamic caliphates that will rule the entire world.

The terrorists in Gaza are hiding deep in the ground underneath their command posts and send women and children as human shields to protect the terrorists in order that Israel, as part of Western civilization, will be deterred from bombing them.

There has to be an intelligent operational solution for this dilemma.

The Operational Solution Against Terror In Gaza

The truth is that the aggressor in war time doesn’t have the right to complain about citizens that are killed.

This is the accepted norm in the world.

The world is demanding different ethical standards from Israel and to sacrifice IDF soldiers instead and for it to forgo the accepted norm.

It would not be ethical of Israel to accept this double standard for its soldiers.  Many IDF soldiers were already killed in battle in Gaza because of the IDF’s high ethical standards while fighting in an urban setting.  It isn’t fair to demand double standards of the IDF as it progresses in its battle in Gaza.

The Western world acted differently in the face of Nazi terrorism.  One case in point is what happened in Dresden during WWII.  Tens of thousands of citizens were killed with “carpet bombing from the air” within 3 days.

Thousands of citizens were killed when NATO bombed Kosovo in 1999 and later on in Libya.

Thousands of citizens were killed in America’s war against terrorism in Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen in the last decade.

Thousands of citizens were killed in Russia’s war on terrorism in Chechnya.  Similar circumstances took place in Somalia.  The UN sent Special Forces to Mogadishu.  Hundreds of civilians were forced to be human shields to the cruel regime that overpowered the country.  The result was indiscriminate mass murder of innocent citizens.

The UN spokesman in Somalia Mr. David Stockwell explained at the time:  “Whoever is in the battle zone is considered a warrior.”

The NATO spokesman at the time, Mr. Jamie Shea explained the mass murder of innocent citizens:  “There’s always a price for being rid of evil, but the price for failure to defeat evil will be much higher.”

The UN gave full backing for its forces despite ramped civilian injuries.

But what the world allows itself to do is not allowed by Israel.   Different and higher ethical standards are demanded of Israel.

When the multiple terrorist groups of the world will come to grips with what will happen in Gaza, depending if the world will allow us to completely defeat terror there, other terrorist groups will learn their lesson.  Otherwise, the civilized Western world will be defeated and life and freedom that flourishes and is enjoyed will soon be eliminated.  The new Islamic generation should be educated with the notion that one cannot control the world through terrorism.  The individual should become part of the cultured world that aspires to peace and life.  The generation that cannot be rectified, that wishes to die for the sake of terror in other places in the world, even after all that transpires in Gaza, should be eradicated by the nations of the world without the additional standards that apply to Israel.

Just as the Jewish nation contributed the enlightened culture to the world, the Jewish nation will also act as an example how to eradicate terrorism that aspires to eradicate the culture of the world.
