State of the Art of Beer

The taxpayer funded Art of Beer is the largest annual fund-raiser for the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center.

The Art of Beer is described by the NACC as "a wonderful showcase of our local breweries and restaurants and a great way to support the NACC.

The event is being held this year on Thursday Feb. 27, from 6 p.m.-9 p. m. at the NACC at the corner of Pine Avenue and Portage Road.

Some Facebook posters have complained that changing the date of the Art of Beer to a Thursday from its usual Friday night is a big mistake since Thursday is not a traditional drinking day for many beer artisans. To this we add, "The art of 'sleeping it off' is also better done on a Saturday."
