IBEW's Volunteer Efforts Bring Holiday Cheer to the City

By Joseph A. Ruffolo
President & CEO
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

December 09, 2014

Community spirit is alive and well in Niagara Falls – the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers has turned Schoellkopf Park into a winter wonderland. Local 237 Business Manager Russ Quarantello and his team donated both lighting and labor to beautifully illuminate the park for the holiday season.

Schoellkopf Park, located along Portage Road between Walnut and Pine avenues, is enjoyed by the entire community as well as our patients, visitors and staff members. Residents of the Schoellkopf Health Center have their spirits lifted by their view of the park from the dining area and many resident rooms.

We are most grateful to IBEW Local 237 for their generous commitment to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and the patients and community we serve. They have truly made the holiday season brighter for us all.
