Basketball Tourney This Weekend at NFHS

The Niagara Falls Education Foundation will present the 15th annual Cataract City Basketball Classic this Friday and Saturday (Dec. 5 and 6) at the Niagara Falls High School's Wolvarena.

The tournament begins on Friday at 5 p.m. with Timon taking on Williamsville North followed by Liverpool against O'Hara at 6:30 with the nightcap at 8:30 featuring Niagara Falls High School against Vaughan.

The Classic will continue on Saturday with five more games beginning at 1:30 p. m. with East Aurora playing Liverpool. The schedule continues with Park vs. Vaughan followed for by Wilson vs. NCHS, Bishop Kearney vs. Nichols, and St. Paul's vs. NFHS.

Admission is $5 for general and $3 with student ID.

It should be a great weekend to see some of the top basketball players in the area competing at Niagara Falls High School.

The 2nd Annual Cataract City Hockey Classic will be held Friday, Dec. 26, and Saturday, Dec. 27, at Niagara University's Dwyer Arena.
